The RFU classifies Under 6 – Under 13’s as Minis and Under 14 – Under 16 as Juniors. All train on a Sunday morning from 10:30 am and strictly follow the RFU protocols of giving everyone time with the ball in a safe and enjoyable environment. Between Under 6 and Under 8 they play TAG rugby and move into safe contact rugby at Under 9.
The Juniors play in local leagues but the Mini’s play friendlies against local clubs. Ideally all age groups will play the same club which is quite a sight.
*** Importantly the club embraces the RFU 50/50 ruling which ensures every child regardless of ability will play 50% of an organised game. ***
